It’s hard when you have relapse moments where you reminisce about the past. What are you to do? We are in a new town, a new chapter of our lives, a new season of this show we call life. Some people got killed off in the last season and now’s the time when all the new people come in to replace them.

But it seems roles just want to be reprised. I wish I knew when I could let go of the past and be completely free from it, but for now I still cannot. There’s no new love interests to report, no new juicy gossip for me to share to you. I’ve been putting my head down and working, working, ignoring any bit of distraction in an attempt to not focus on the past or worry about the future.

Dating’s tough. It’s tough when you don’t know what the future holds for you, or even if there is a future.

We’re moving! 2 weeks from now we’ll be in a new city and hopefully all the old drama under-rug-swept. Busy times so I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to update. But hint! There is a new interest (coincidentally) in our lives; we’ll call her Kat.

and I know if we wait, she’ll be back with us again. I don’t want her hurting and I don’t want to hurt myself. I know Kayleen would be very hurt if another breakup happened. She says she doesn’t want to, but I know her, and I can see the longing in her eyes.

Perhaps we’ll run away before Alice comes back. Perhaps not.
